Hi there! I’m Matt Zhang, also go by the name Chenyuan Zhang. I'm an incoming Master's student in Computer Science at New York University and currently a Post-Bac Computer Science student at Tufts University. I obtained my B.S. in Clinical Medicine from Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, advised by Weifeng Jin.

My interest lies in the intersection of artificial intelligence, robotics, and their applications in real-world scenarios. I am passionate about how we can build human-like or even superintelligent robots that can positively contribute to society. Specifically, I’m interested in robots that have enough emotional intelligence, physical capability, personality, and respect for humans to become genuine friends with people.

Before that, I was a crazy gamer with a focus on 2 games: Legends of the Three Kingdoms (a kind of card game) and CFHD (a kind of first-person shooting game), in both of which I am near the top 1% level. You can find some of my gameplay videos on my Bilibili.
